Notice to Landlords participating in the Housing Choice Voucher Program

The Housing Authority of Gloucester County is experiencing an unexpected delay in the release of Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) funding for the month of December 2025.

At this time, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has not yet issued the scheduled disbursement needed for our agency to issue December Housing Assistance Payments (HAP). As a result, HAP payments for December 2025 will be temporarily delayed.

Please note the following:

1. This delay is not due to any action or inaction by the Housing Authority of Gloucester County or by participating landlords or tenants.
2. We are in active communication with HUD and have been informed that funding is expected to be released by the end of this week or beginning of next.
3. Once funds are received, all December payments will be issued immediately.
4. We understand the burden this may place on you and appreciate your patience and cooperation during this temporary interruption.
