Announcements

As COVID-19 continues to impact people locally and globally, HAGC is working to ensure that we do our part to keep the public and staff members safe and minimize the transmission of the virus. Therefore, effective Monday, March 16, 2020 HAGC is only open to the public for the limited purposes of:

(1) permitting individuals to drop off paperwork in the drop off box;

(2) permitting tenants to drop off checks in the designated rent collection boxes;

(3) by appointment only; HAGC strongly encourages residents or participants to call or email their assigned processor instead of requesting an  appointment.

(4) HAGC has adjusted certain PHA operations to continue serving the mission of the Authority within the limitations presented by the COVID-19 pandemic by adopting certain waivers.  These waivers afford HAGC flexibility when needed to protect employees and the rights of families, facilitate initial lease ups, and keep families housed. Please see the waivers adopted as an attachment to the Section 8 Administrative Plan and Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy under downloads;

Until further notice meetings of the Board of Commissioners will be conducted via conference call. All public interested in participating should contact 856-845-4959 Ext. 218 for detailed instructions on how to access the call. The schedule is available under the About Us tab.

Public Service Notice - Nearly 12 million Americans risk missing out on the stimulus payments provided through the recent CARES Act because they don’t file federal taxes or receive certain federal benefits.  In order to receive the stimulus payment they must file a form by October 15, 2020 in order to receive it this year, or file a 2020 tax return next year to receive it in 2021. You can file or find more information at https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payments
